Maintenance Technician (2nd & 3rd Shift)  $18-23 Per Hour

Maintenance Technician: 

This position requires focus, organization, patience, research, and communication across all divisions of the company. This position is important because it enables the facility to operate at an utmost adequate level. The engineering technicians execute necessary tasks in a safe, timely, and collaborative way. In short- An efficiently run plant drives quality and creates a better work environment for all involved.



  • 3+ years' experience within an industrial environment (Bakery Experience Preferred)
  • Proven track record/experience in specific areas of engineering (Maintenance & mechanic)
  • Pipe fitter experience (read & understand pipeline specifications; able to cut, install and assemble pipe systems)
  • Electrical background (preferred)



Secondary qualities: Problem solving, action oriented, Results Driven, Decisiveness, Organization, Informative, physical dexterity, ability to lift 50lbs, Shift Flexibility,  team collaboration, time management, reading comprehension, Systems analysis, deductive and inductive reasoning 


Technical Skills

Safety' lead by example, promote safe behaviors by proactively seeking to reduce risk within the plant.

  • Improve upon PMs in place, Proficient knowledge of Lock-out/Tag-out, Understanding of PPE

 Pipe fitter basics:

  • Read, plan and understand pipe system; layout, inspect, examine and test pipe lines
  • Cut, thread,and hammer pipes; assemble and secure pipes; modify, clean and modify pipe systems as necessary.
  • Experience working with Natural gas line, compressed air line piping and or Black pipes.

Engineering Essentials Electrical

  • Proficient with a multi-meter
  • Troubleshoot & replace 3 Phase motors & VFD's
  • Ability to read electrical schematics & to understand relay logic
  • Experience with low voltage DC Circuits as well as a wide range of electrical devices (proxs, photo eyes, relays, contractors, safety relays, push buttons, )



  • Proficient with calipers
  • Troubleshoot & replace gear boxes, bearings, shafts, sprockets, pulleys,
  • Ability to setup parts & equipment to OEM specifications
  • Experience with fabrication & welding of small parts, brackets, catch pans, etc.
  • Proven track record and experience completing preventative maintenance on equipment
