This position will require an individual who takes pride and ownership in their work and is willing to accept total responsibility for the performance of the lamination process on their shift. This individual's key role is to manage the laminator machine in order to meet our product quality specifications. Must maintain fat ratios and rates.


  • Performs quality checks ensuring fat ratio, dough folds and fat rates are meeting required specifications.
  • Monitors and manages the laminator settings during production gaps to ensure accurate product
  • Adheres to production schedules, ensures production orders are met for finished goods inventories. Minimizes waste ensuring conformance to safety and quality standards.
  • Removes all out-of-spec product from the line and notifies Production Supervisor of all non-conforming product or processes on the line.
  • Ensure a safe operation, complying with the corporate accident prevention program, and following safe work practices.
  • Attends Monthly required safety meetings when applicable.
  • Inform Management for maintenance and repair of production equipment, and for machine parts and manufacturing supplies. Recommends improvements in machinery and equipment and in manufacturing methods.
  • Ensures company standard practices and procedures are followed
  • Maintains and reports production-related information regarding yields, efficiencies and labor utilization to management and/or related tracking programs.
  • Participates in weekly GMP, sanitation, and safety inspections throughout the production departments and corrects any identified deficiencies.
  • Performs other related responsibilities, as needed or directed by Production Supervisor and Manager, to support The Bakery Cos. business objectives



  • Follow all GMP's, Food Defense and quality policies
  • Ensures all GMP and all food hygiene and safety standards are in compliance
  • Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen or magnet deviancies', glass breakage, and pest harborage.


  • Have received a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be flexible with schedule, including start times and weekend work.
  • Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes.
  • Drive for Results, Process Management, Integrity & Trust, Conflict Management, and Time Management.
  • Able to problem solve, learn on the fly, process and technical learning, and quality decision.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.


  • Work in a noisy environment for length of shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reach above shoulder height.
  • Able to bend, twist, stand, climb stairs/ladders, push/pull, and walk for the length of shift.
